Meet Ellie

"We're all a little weird, and life's a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and call it love" Dr Seuss

Hi, I am Ellie and I am a Jewellery Artist, gem painter and all round creative! By that I mean I am a physical story teller and creator of beautiful things, more specifically jewellery. I have created a business that encompasses what I love whilst listening to what my clients want. People have always fascinated me, I love talking and listening to their stories - from all walks of life - sad stories, happy ones, tales of triumph and tales of love. It is these stories and other people’s passion for love and life that drive what I do.

My jewellery journey began after graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2008, I worked in the industry and also later in finance where I learnt a lot - especially how not to run a business! In 2012 I quit my job to travel India alone and upon my return I took matters in to my own hands and decided to create my own destiny. Through my creative journey more recently I separated my personal work from what I do with others and in April 2015 Eladore was born. Work under my own name demonstrates more creative and personal works of art, which I am continually exploring.

Many of the designs in my collections have references to my travels, artists that I am inspired by and my simple love of nature. They are also inspired by physical depictions of emotions and feelings, they say what words fail. My design style features strong use of shape and especially colour, which are a fundamental part of the beauty of my pieces. But most importantly of all I want my customers to make these designs and pieces their own; to put their own stamp and stories to their piece for they aren’t about me – they are all about you and your own love story whatever that might be.

In the words of Audrey Hepburn “The best thing to hold on to in life is each other” for that is more important than anything.

With all my love,
